By end of competition, we had received a collection of very interesting and hilarious design entries. After we had assessed all the entries we came up with the round 2 winners.

Winners:
1st place - Phoebe Gordon (3rd yr)
2nd place - Amalie Shawcross (1st yr)
3rd place - Steve Kirsu (3rd yr)

On behalf of the Landscape Architecture Club, we congratulate the winners and also the other participants for their hard work. See you all for round 3.

24 minute design comp, Rnd 1 winners

The first round of our 24 minute design competition series was held last Wednesday in the Landscape Architecture studio. With only a small turn out for round one, which was a Mr Squiggle design theme to create a character. In the 24 minutes and with a couple lines on a page the competitors came up with some interesting characters and a number of surprising results.

Winners for Rnd 1 are: 1st: Max Power 3rd yr (aka Nick Hall)
2nd: James Norton 4th yr
3rd: Phoebe Gordon 3rd yr.

They now sit on top of the leader board with 10, 9, and 8 points respectably. For those wanting join in, there is still a chance to keep in contention with the leaders before they get to far ahead. Rnd 2 will be held next week with the date and venue still to be advised.
